We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Bursa where one of their biggest challengers TurkishTofas (1-5) were defeated by fourth ranked Greek Karditsas (1-5) 98-90 on Wednesday. Karditsas shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Nikos Diplaros (189-1997) who scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Finnish center Alexander Madsen (208-1995) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was French Hugo Besson (191-2001) who recorded 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Lithuanian center Marek Blazevic (209-2001) added 23 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) respectively. Five Karditsas and four Tofas players scored in double figures. Karditsas left bottom position moving up to third place, which they share with defeated Tofas. It was Tofas ' fourth loss in a row.
